If you’re a fan of mystery, detective and speculative fiction or anything in between, you won’t want to miss my postings of exclusive fiction, artwork, updates and special offerings.

My work runs the gambit from hard-boiled private eyes to edge of your seat mystery thrillers; from dark to strange tales that push the boundaries of what’s possible—weird and unsettling—think Twilight Zone; you’ll find them in The Spencer Collection.

About myself:

I’m a multi-media artist and an award winning international crime fiction writer who spends his time between Rome, Italy and Montreal, Canada.

To date, I’ve published three novels as part of the James Cartwright PI series (The Spencer Files, Call of the Nightingale, and The Case of the Runaway Orangutan) through Original Press as well as The Crossing (Book 1 in the Devon West mystery series)

I’m presently working on a collection of speculative, dark fiction (short stories) entitled Tales from the PI Café, to be released in late 2024 (which will premiered on Patreon in the upcoming months to members prior to the book’s release). Also working on the fourth James Cartwright novel, Theory of a Deadman – release date 2024-25 (samples of which will be posted on Patreon with your feedback and insights).

I received my MFA in Visual Arts from the University of Ottawa (2010) and his BFA in Fine Arts from Concordia University, Montreal (2008).

When I’m not writing I’m spending time with my daughters or playing chess at a local cafe.
