Oliver Dean Spencer is a multi-media artist and an award winning international crime fiction writer who spends his time between Catania, Sicily and Montreal, Quebec.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To date, he’s published three novels as part of the James Cartwright PI series (The Spencer Files<\/a>, Call of the Nightingale<\/a>, and The Case of the Runaway Orangutan<\/a>) through Original Press as well as The Crossing<\/a> (Book 1 in the Devon West mystery series)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Spencer is presently working on a collection of speculative, dark fiction (short stories) entitled Tales from the PI Caf\u00e9<\/a>, to be released in late 2025 and on the fourth James Cartwright novel, Theory of a Deadman<\/em> – release date 2025-26.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Oliver Dean Spencer received his MFA in Visual Arts from the University of Ottawa (2010) and his BFA in Fine Arts from Concordia University, Montreal (2008).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
